Ms. Mullins received her B.A. (1987) and her J.D. (1991) from the University of Florida. She is certified for practice by the Florida Supreme Court. Ms. Mullins served as a member of the Board of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (2001-2005).
In addition, Ms. Mullins is a member of the Cooperating Attorney Network, Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, a member of the American Association for Justice’s Law Schools Committee and Press Advisory Committee, a member of the Boca Raton Museum Professional Advisory Committee, the Chair of the Sponsorship Committee for Susan G Komen, South Florida’s 2013 Race for the Cure, Board of Directors for Susan G. Komen, South Florida (2015-2017), recipient of the Eleanor Goodman Spirit Award, Susan G. Komen, South Florida on November 19, 2013 as well as a member of the Boca Raton Triathletes.
Ms. Mullins founded the EBC Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises awareness for the importance of early detection of breast cancer primarily through athletically inspired events.
Ms. Mullins resides in Delray Beach with her husband, Kevin Garbowit, and her three children, Jennifer (19), Tommy (15) and Adin (8). In her free time, Ms. Mullin’s enjoys playing golf with her husband, running marathons and triathlons and spending time with her children.
