Ms. Mullins received her B.A. (1987) and her J.D. (1991) from the University of Florida. She is certified for practice by the Florida Supreme Court. Ms. Mullins is also certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a family law mediator and she is also a collaboratively-trained attorney. Ms. Mullins served as a member of the Board of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (2001-2005).
In addition, Ms. Mullins is a member of the Board of the South Palm Beach County Florida Association for Women Lawyers, member of the Cooperating Attorney Network, Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, President Elect of the Board of Directors for Susan G. Komen, South Florida, recipient of the Eleanor Goodman Spirit Award, Susan G. Komen, South Florida (2013), Nominated by Soroptimist International as a Woman of Distinction (2014), chosen as a Leader in the Law by the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (2016). In addition, Ms. Mullins is a member of the Boca Raton Triathletes.
Ms. Mullins founded the EBC Foundation, Inc. a nonprofit organization that raises awareness for the importance of early detection of breast cancer primarily through athletically inspired events.
Ms. Mullins resides in Delray Beach with her husband, Kevin Garbowit, and her three children, Jennifer (21), a 4th year student at University of Florida, Tommy (17), and Adin (10). In her free time, Ms. Mullin’s enjoys playing golf with her husband, running marathons and triathlons and spending time with her children.
